How to cite BIRA-IASB data?

For most of the BIRA-IASB data we will provide you with the citation to use through the landing page of the data object; from this page you will always be able to download the data object again. Persistent Identifiers (PID) or Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of the data object will always lead you to its landing page.

You may also use pictures or visualisations from the BIRA-IASB data websites if you add the text "Credits BIRA-IASB" with a link to the original page.

How to acknowledge BIRA-IASB?

In accordance with scientific standards, appropriate acknowledgment of BIRA-IASB should be made in any publications or other disclosures concerning data or information made available by BIRA-IASB.

BIRA-IASB recommends reference as follows:

Inform BIRA-IASB data providers

We ask you to inform our data providers, traceable through the metadata connected to the provided DOI or PID, when the data is used for publication(s), and to offer them the possibility to comment and/or offer them co-authorship or acknowledgement in the publication when this is justified by the added value of the data for your results.
